Guy E. Moore, 83, of Danville, Ky., formerly of Owensboro where he lived most of his life, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2015. He had moved to Danville two years ago to be closer to his family. Guy was born November 13, 1931 in Warren Co., KY to the late Roy E. and Mary Ellen Noel Moore. He had worked as an engineer for General Electric and M.P.D. until his retirement. He was a member of Settle Memorial United Methodist Church and a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Frances Hopper on May 13, 2009.

Guy is survived by two nephews, Dr. Steve Hopper of Chevy Chase, MD and Dr. David (Becky) Hopper of Danville, a niece, Cheryl (Steve) Van Waes of Columbia, MO, three great nephews, Jad Hopper of Chevy Chase, Dr. Jason (Samantha) Hopper of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Michael (Meredith) Hopper of Lexington, and a great niece, Leah Van Waes of Murray.

Private Services and Entombment will be held at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
