Private funeral services for Lincoln Ahrens, 56, formerly of Two Rivers who died Tuesday at Tunkhannock, Pa., will be at 2:30pm Tuesday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, the Rev. Karl F. Koch officiating. Burial will be in Forest View Cemetery.
Mr. Ahrens was born May 13, 1908, at Two Rivers, son of the late Charles and Amelia Cammers Ahrens. He enlisted in the Navy when he was 17 and later became an employe of the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., at Manitowoc. In later years he was in the merchant marines.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ted Dohr, of Two Rivers, Mrs. Arthur B. Curtis, of Washington D.C., and Mrs. Charles Spring, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, and a brother, Charles of Roseburg, Ore.
