Sept. 26, 1955 - July 18, 2015 Barbara Ann Oglesby Tate, age 59 went to be with her Lord on July 18, 2015, after a long battle with cancer. She grew up in Satsuma, AL, but made Foley, AL her home for the past 13 years. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, Foley, AL. She leaves one daughter, Amanda Michell Oglesby; two sisters, Evelyn (Max) Swift, and Juanita (Vernon) Smith. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Joe and Virginia; one brother, Jerry (Brenda) Oglesby. She leaves to cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and one Aunt, Marzee Click. She had a host of friends, especially her Hispanic Family that have loved and helped her for the past 13 years and all of her church family. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
