BONHAM

Funeral services for Mrs. Hester Ada Howell, 91, will be held at 2:00 p.m. December 3, 1994 in the Wise Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Tom Price will be officiating the service. Burial will be at Dodd City Cemetery.

Mrs. Howell was born in Rosalie, TX. on December 27, 1902, the daughter of John W. and Martha Jane Stevens Dowell.

She married John Irvin Howell on December 24, 1922 in Detroit, TX. He preceded her in death on July 22, 1965.

Mrs. Howell was a long time member of the Whiteshed United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a sales clerk for McIver's 5&10 for many years, retiring in 1970. She was a member of Lannius Home Demonstration Club.

She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Mrs. Howell's survivors are a son, Price Howell of Bonham; a daughter, Nadine Coonrod of Wylie; four grandchildren, Billy Coonrod and Bruce Coonrod, both of Rowlett, Bryan Coonrod of Wylie, and Brenda Lay of Royce City; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews, Billy Coonrod, Bruce Coonrod, Bryan Coonrod, Bobby Burk, Alvis Howell, and Joe Rogers.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday night.
