Graveside services for Billie Jean Howard, age 83, of Bonham, TX will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Dodd City Cemetery. Members of the family will oversee the service.
Mrs. Howard passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Medical Center Lewisville, TX.
Billie Jean (Scott) Howard was born on October 30, 1931 in Dodd City, TX to Claude Gray and Ellen Pauline (Talbot) Scott.
She married Sam Howard, Jr. on January 31, 1947 in Dodd City, TX; he preceded her in death on January 17, 1992.
Mrs. Howard was self-employed at Bonham Steam Laundry, and a member of Dodd City Church of Christ. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by son, Michael J. Howard and wife Melissa of Lewisville, TX; grandchildren, Christopher Howard, and Jonathan Howard of Lewisville, TX; brother, Robert Scott, and sister, Melinda Clower; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is also preceded in death by her parents.
No formal visitation will take place.
