OAKLEY | Keith Hal Warr, age 83, of Oakley, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015, at the Mini-Cassia Care Center.

Keith was born Aug. 31, 1931, in Oakley, Idaho, to Merrill Willis and Leora Erickson Warr. He attended Oakley schools and graduated from Oakley High School in 1949. He married Betty Martin on Oct. 5, 1961, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They had two children, Martin Warr and Leslee Warr.

Keith loved the Oakley Valley and spent his life in Oakley farming, ranching, and raising his family. He was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the Young Mens organization, the bishopric and as a member of the stake high council. He loved spending time with his family, serving in the church, herding cattle, and staying at the family cabin in Trapper Creek. Throughout his life he has been involved with the Oakley Vigilantes, the Oakley Valley Arts Council, and the Snake River Flats barbershop group. He also was the sexton of the Oakley Valley cemeteries for a number of years - a position in which he dearly loved.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Warr of Oakley, Idaho; his children, Martin and Mollyann Warr of Elk Creek, Va., and Leslee Warr of American Fork, Utah; and his four grandchildren, Jordon, Jessica, Jake and Jaxon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Merrill and Leora Warr; his brother, Richard (Dick) Warr; and his grandson, Jace.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, at the Oakley LDS Stake Center, 355 N. Center Ave., in Oakley. Burial will follow in the Basin Cemetery.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, July 20, at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley, and from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
