Lodi Matron Passes Away
Mrs. Eva Oelenberger, who has been a resident of Lodi for the past 14 years, passed away in her home at 309 South Garfield street yeseterday morning, bringing to close a short illness. A native of South Russia, Mrs. Oelenberger was 75 years of age. She was a member of the Hilborn Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Jacob Olenberger, and the following children: Mrs. Lydia Mattes, Canada; Fred Scherbinske, Lodi; Otto Scherbinske, Filer, Idaho; Albert Scherbinske, Graceville, Minn.; Leonard Scherbinske, Graceville, Minn.;Mrs. Elsie Hauk, McLaughlin, S.D.; Edward Scherbinske, Lodi; and Harry Scherbinske, Los Gatos.
Also among survivors are a sister and brother: Mrs. Emanuel Knecht, Goodrich, N.D.; and Andrew Elmer, Goodrich, N.D.
Funeral Tuesday in the Hilborn Seventh Day Adventist Church with Elder Carl Becker officiating. Interment in the Cherokee Memorial Park under the direction of the Wells Funeral Home.
