She was born June 6, 1906 in Fredericksburg. She was a homemaker and a member of Harper Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Charles D. Schmidt and Harold Schmidt, both of Fredericksburg; one daughter, Davene Jonas of San Antonio; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
