Funeral services celebrating the life of Ms. Johnnie L. Cook, age 87 will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Mooringsport Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Strother officiating. Interment will follow at the Mooringsport Memorial Gardens. There will be a time of visitation on Thursday, July 23rd from 10:00 AM until 12 Noon at the church.
Ms. Cook was born in Oil City, LA on August 17, 1927 to John D. and Lena Tims Little and passed away on July 17, 2015 in Ft. Worth, TX after a brief illness. Ms. Cook was an Office Manager for ATT for 30 years and a member of Mooringsport Baptist Church. She loved her flower gardens, quilting and cooking for her family.
Ms. Cook is preceded in death by her parents, John D. and Lena Little and 7 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Donald Cook, daughters, Diana Bartik, Brenda Cook and Mickey Cook; brother, Dale Little; grandchildren, Christopher Bartik and wife, Noralinda Ureste, Jason Bartik and wife, Lindsay Quarles, Melissa Longo and husband, Sid, Diana Clark and Caroline Printice. Ms. Cook is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Honoring Ms. Cook as pallbearers will be Christopher Bartik, Jason Bartik, Sid Longo and Joe Paul Little.
