ROSETTA M. “ROSE" ANDERSON
Rosetta M. “Rose” Anderson, age 68, died Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, Kan. She was born on Dec. 6, 1946, in Clay Center, Kan., to Alcid E. and Lena M. (Frigon) Demars.
Rose attended rural schools at Como and Carmel and graduated from Clyde High School. She married Elton “Andy” Anderson on Feb. 4, 1967, at St. Joseph, Kan. She worked for Riteway Laundry, Wal-Mart, Boogaarts and then Cloud County Health Center in the food service for the last 25 years. She was a den mother for Cub Scout Pack 32. She belonged to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, the American Legion Post #76 and VFW Post #588 Auxiliaries.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Elton “Andy”, Concordia; sons, Michael Anderson (Sandy), of Gardner and Devin Anderson (Micole), Concordia, and she was blessed with four granddaughters who were very special to her, Alex and Mattie, of Gardner and Justice and Kennedy, Concordia.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with the Rev. Brian Lager officiating. Burial will follow at St. Concordia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with family greeting friends after the Vigil service at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
