Tonya Marta Barbara Terry was a vivacious and precocious child. Her sparkling eyes always on the prowl for adventures and risk taking. She loved music, theater and drama both as an art and way of life. She was open minded and saw nothing to be prejudiced about - she simply wanted to be loved. She had a gift for sly humor and delightful sarcasm. She was Bill's cruising buddy and her antics would make her mother laugh. She fiercely defended her sister and brother if she thought that others were picking on them. Yet, Tonya was also troubled. From early on she suffered from bi-polar disorder. Poorly diagnosed and untreated she eventually became a fatality of her illness, but she will always be remembered as a dark eyed beauty who loved to dance, love, live and always with a vibrancy that remains unrivaled.
