Kay Lorraine Kennedy, age 67, of Lapeer, died Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Mrs. Kennedy was born January 4, 1948 in Flint, Michigan to Claude and Kathryn (Major) Brown. She graduated in 1966 from Lapeer High School and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in English from University of Michigan. Kay married Gregory Kennedy on July 27, 1974 at Cramton Park here in Lapeer. Mrs. Kennedy was an avid reader.
Kay is survived by her husband: Gregory Kennedy; brother: Kenneth "Bud" (Charlene) Matzenbach of Columbiaville; sister-in-law: Gail Kennedy of Wisconsin; several cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Claude and Kate Brown and brother: Jim Brown.
