She was a teacher's assistant for T.A.P.
Those surviving her death are one daughter, Sharon Easley; one son, Ronald (Eugenia) Easley both of Roanoke; four sisters, Carolyn Long, Mildred Penn, Elaine Casey all of Roanoke, Mattie (Malcolm) Weathers of Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, Roy (Emma) Dix of Roanoke; four grandchildren, Ashley Easley, Tierra Easley, Ronald Easley, and Romeo Easley; two uncles, Alphonzo (Barbara Jean) Easley of Roanoke and William Easley, Boston Mass,; special niece, Pamela Manns; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 24, 1997 at 11 a.m. at the Hamlar Curtis Chapel. Dr. J. Eugene Young will officiate. Interment will be in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday 7 to 8 p.m. at Hamlar Curtis.
