James Barr
James A. Barr of Steubenville died at 6:15 a.m. today in the Beva Nursing Home, where he had been a patient two weeks. He was a retired glassworker.
Mr. Barr was born in Steubenville Jan. 28, 1872, the son of the late Rome and Adda Hukill Barr. His wife, Ethel Blakley Wynn Barr, preceded him in death in 1925.
Surviving are two sons, Clyde of Red Cliff, Alberta, Canada, and T/Sgt. Charles Barr of Randolph Field, Tex.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Adda Stewart of RD 1, Steubenville, and Mrs. Edna Lewis of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Burford Funeral Home in Steubenville. Arrangements are incomplete.
