Cynthia Elizabeth Amacker Bean, 55, of Buna died Wednesay, January 6, 1999 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral services were held Sunday, January 10, at the E. E. Stringer Funeral Home in Buna with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery.
A native of Mobile, AL., she lived in Buna 26 years and was the Nursing Supervisor/Administrator for the Mamie McFadden Ward Cancer Treatment Center in Beaumont.
She is survived by her husband, John L. Bean of Buna; two sons, Staff-Sargeant Brent Madison Bean of Tyndall, FL and Robin Bean of Vidor; a daughter Elizabeth Bean Lowitz of Vidor; her father Coy Amacker of Lakewiew, OR.; brother, Tom Amacker of Lakeview; sisters Joan Gail and Romona Breshears, both of Lakewiew, and eight grandchildren.
