Eula Jo Thomas, 87, of Arlington, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2006, in Fort Worth.
Eula Jo was born January 9, 1919 in Brandon, Texas the daughter of Clarence Obadiah and Ellen Romilda (Swearingen) Chennault.
In 1957 she graduated from Texas Wesleyan College in Fort Worth and taught elementary school in Fort Worth until retiring in 1980.
On November 12, 1938 she married Linuel Thomas and he preceded her in death on March 23, 1999.
She was an avid quilter and seamstress, and enjoyed playing the piano and organ.
Also preceding her in death were her parents and two sisters, Agnes Chennault and Vera McIntire.
Survivors include her daughters, Ann Whitley of Bedford, Sue Rearden and husband, Tom, of Granbury, and Kay McKnight and husband, Johnny, of Arlington; two sisters, Pearl Stanley of Wichita Falls and Hortence Ward of Fort Worth; her loving care-giver for the past four years, Tiwonge, of Arlington; five grandchildren, Wendy Moore, Kathy Bonds, Holly McKnight, Brad Rearden, and Brenda O'Neil; and nine great-grandchildren, David, Mackenzie, Jack, Madeline, Spencer, Megan, Shannon, Garrett, and Ryan.

Eula Jo Thomas, 87, of Arlington died Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth. She was born January 9, 1919, in Brandon, daughter of the late Clarence Obadiah and Ellen Romilda Swearingen Chennault. In 1957, she graduated from Texas Wesleyan College of Fort Worth and taught elementary school in Fort Worth until retiring in 1980.
