She is survived by her son, stepson, four brothers, two sisters, two brothers-in-law, and three sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph B. and Georgia Harvey; husband, John W. Mays; and brother, James Edward Harvey. Arrangements: Anniston Funeral Service. Funeral: 1:00 p.m. July 20, 2015 at Mount Olive Baptist Church.
