Dixie Robinson White, 89, passed away Monday.
Diie was born June 22, 1926 in Fayette to Thomas Boe Robinson and Eugenia Gertrude Gray Robinso. She married George O'Rex White on March 1, 1947 in Seguin.
She is preceded in death by her brother Bryan, Richard and Travis Robinson; sisters, Doris Neil Robinson, Mary Allen and Iola Robinson Wehmeyer; as well as her loving husband of 46 years, George O'Rex White.
Dixie was initiated on March 13, 1982 into the Gonzales Chapter #403 of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she honorably served as Worthy Matron between the yers of 1987-89 and 1997-98.
Dixie lived life t the fullest and enjoyed spending time with her many friends and family. She enjoyed playing dominoes with her husband and friends, putting together puzzles, traveling and hosting family game nights. She was an avid fan of PBR.
Dixie, along with George, was a long-time member of Clark Baptist Church.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Seydler Hill Funeral Home. Services with a tribute from Gonzales Chapter #403 Order of the Eastern Star will be held Friday, July 17 at 10 a.m. in Seydler Hill Funeral Home with Rev. James Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Gonzales Masonic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Clark Baptist Church. Services are under the care and direction of Seydler Hill Funeral Home.
