Funeral service for Richard Joseph Atchison, 15, of Old Salem was held Friday, February 8 at Causey's E. E. Stringer Funeral Home with burial in Trout Creek Cemetery.
He died Wednesday from injuries received when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle in Old Salem.
A native of Port Arthur, he lived in Old Salem over a year and was a student at Kirbyville Junior High School.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Michael G. Atchison; a brother, Dwayne Atchison; a sister, Karen Atchison, all of Old Salem; and grandmother, Judy Cayou of Port Arthur.
