"There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1

A TIME TO BE BORN:
Mother Lela Delores Hills Moore made her triumphant entry into God's beautiful world where her parents McKinley & Mattie Bridges Hills were blessed with a wonderful child March 21, 1936, in Belzoni, MS. This child blossomed into a beautiful flower as she journeyed through this world.

A TIME TO PLANT:
Mother Moore was reared in Belzoni, MS by her godly parents. She graduated from McNair High School in 1955 then attended Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena, MS. Later she moved to Chicago, Illinois, and pursued her lifetime career in Nursing at the University of Chicago School of Nursing. Upon successfully completing her studies, she became a Registered Nurse and finally a Nurse Practitioner. She retired from this career completely at Cook County Hospital, Chicago after over twenty-five years.

A TIME TO LOVE:
Mother Moore fell in love with her high school sweetheart, Clyde Moore and they were united in love and matrimony on February 8, 1958, and remained in this union until his eternal sleep in January 1998. To this union three (3) sons were born: Clyde Michael, Dwayne, and Christopher King.

A TIME TO FIND:
Christ came into her life at an early age at the White Star Missionary Baptist Church, Belzoni, MS under the pastorate of Reverend W. M. Harper where she remained a member until she moved to Chicago in 1956 and united with the Unity Baptist Church and served faithfully there under the leadership of Reverend E.J. Jones. Upon retirement, she relocated to South Holland, Illinois, and united with Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Harvey, Illinois under the leadership of Bishop Willie Jordan.

A TIME TO REAP:
At Saint Mark's Missionary Baptist Church, she became a member of the Mission Ministry, and Bible Study Class and was currently serving on the Mother's Board. Mother Moore was a faithful, dedicated, and victorious Christian woman. To God be the glory!

A TIME TO DIE:
Mother Moore entered her eternal sleep on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at her home in South Holland, IL. We know that we never lose the one we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought, and even decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.
