Obituary - Setauket, November 7 - Adelaide Roseman, widow of William Alexander Hawkins, died in her home at South Setauket after several weeks' illness with heart trouble. She was 66 years old. Mrs. Hawkins has been a cripple for years, but her cheerful disposition won for her a host of friends. One son, George Edward Hawkins, of Texas, and five sisters, Mrs. Hattie Mann, Mrs. Sanford Denton, Mrs. John Mount, Mrs. Julia Edwards, and Miss Emma Roseman, all of this place, survive. She was a member of the Stony Brook Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held from the house tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Clyde Hale will officiate, and the interment will be made in the family plot in Oak Hill Cemetery, at Stony Brook.
