A native of Buncombe County, he had resided between Greensboro and Astor, FL for over 40 years and was Owner & President of Jarrett Construction and Realty Company. He was a member of VFW in Astor, FL, was a Shriner, was an Air Force veteran during the Korean War - stationed in Morroco, was of the Presbyterian faith and enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Mr. Jarrett was the son of the late Nesbitt Nathaniel Jarrett and Bonnie Hyatt Jarrett.
Surviving are his children, Everett Nesbitt Jarrett, Jr. and wife Vickie, Ava Marie Jarrett Morgan and husband Neal, Cynthia Raye Jarrett Karius and husband Ken and Tony Hall Jarrett and wife Joyce; grandchildren, Ethan and Morgan Jarrett, Eli and Nathanael Morgan, Alex and Aaron and Anna Karius; sisters, Patricia Jarrett Burcham and husband Walter "Tip" and Jean Jarrett; nephew, David Bell and special friend and caregiver, Beverly Green.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, March 22, 2013 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Oxner officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1 PM Friday at the funeral home.
