Ann Munro was born in Scotland in approx. 1809. She must have come to Canada as a young girl or woman because she married John Tully on Dec 28, 1837 in Hinchinbrooke. They became the parents of four children, Peter Munro, John, Donald Walker and Gabriel Buckham who was born in 1849. Ann died in 1851 when Gabriel was two years old. John then married Agnes Munro who was Ann’s sister (not proven). Ann’s burial place is unknown but all of her family is buried in Elgin.
