Sandra Sue Wareing, 72, of Hamilton and formerly of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, July 16, 2015, at her home on Hamilton Lake.

She was born Dec. 25, 1942, in Fort Wayne to Al and Agnes (Ertel) Schroeder. Sandra grew up around Hamilton Lake and enjoyed hanging out at Cold Springs, always taking part in the various dances held at the dance hall.

Sandra was a graduate of Concordia High School in Fort Wayne.

She retired in 1999 from Magnavox of Fort Wayne where she was a member of the Magnavox Quarter Century Club. She also served on the Credit Committee at Partners First in Fort Wayne.

She was a member of the Hamilton United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Red Had Society. Sandra was also an active member of the High Hopes Clown group, entertaining at numerous nursing homes in Angola, Fort Wayne, and Hamilton.

She married Ronald Wareing in Hamilton in 1987, and he survives.

Sandra thoroughly enjoyed the time spent traveling with her husband, Ron, and the home they shared on Hamilton Lake.

Also surviving are two sons, Charles A. Hamilton of Fremont, and Robert C. (Angela) Hamilton of Fort Wayne; two step-sons, Michael (Cheri) Wareing of Noblesville, and Scott Wareing of Auburn; six grandchildren, Tyler Hamilton, Trevor Hamilton, Tanner Hamilton, Angela (Kevin) Gunkel, Jaimee Wareing, and Bradley Wareing; ten great-grandchildren; and her best friend, Helen Moreno.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Connie Leeper.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday prior to the service. The Rev. Jack Smith will be officiating.

Entombment will follow in Concordia Cemetery in Fort Wayne.

Visitation will also be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Hamilton United Methodist Church.
