BROWNING, Donna Jean "D.J.", age 79 of Fenton, died July 17, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held 1-4 & 5-9 PM Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to Genesee County Department of Veterans Service.

Donna was born August 24, 1935 in Fenton, the daughter of Donald Ray and Jean (Jacobs) Burdick. She was married to Gordon Browning on November 7, 1953; he preceded her in death on June 12, 2006.

Mrs. Browning worked for Fenton Schools for many years and was an active member of the community. She was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church of Fenton.

Surviving are her children, Joyce (Gary) Dowling, Ray (Denise)Browning, Bruce Browning, Wayne (Joni) Browning; grandchildren, Sarah, Brea, Michael, Cyle, Toni Marie and Ely; great-grandchildren, Arianna, Marissa, Sierra, Mason and Emili Rose; brothers, Carl (Luetta) Burdick, Don (Chris) Burdick; niece, Karen Elizabeth; nephew, Steven.
