Connie Joyce Walters was born December 1st 1943 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to William Thompson and Geraldine Beatrice Marks. Connie graduated from Muskogee High School and attended college in Arkansas where her 1st marriage produced her 2 children, Guinevere Goldsmith-Sulfa and Willie Goldsmith, Jr. Connie's grandfather Will P Smith placed her at the piano where she begin to play at the age of four. In 1978 Connie gave her life to the Lord using her gift of song & piano. In 1990 she married John Baxter Walters they traveled abroad in ministry together to Israel, Bulgaria, and India as well as across the US ministering via song, playing piano and spreading gospel of Jesus Christ in prisons, jails, to homeless, nursing homes, and churches. Connie passed away on July 16, 2015 she leaves behind a her husband John B Walters Of 25 years, 2 children, 2 grand- children, 1 great-grand child, 5 sisters, a brother, and a host of family and friends who will greatly miss her, her voice and music.
