Evergreen, Colorado; formerly of Altoona

Our beloved Christopher William Aipperspach 38, of Evergreen, Colorado passed away unexpectedly July 11,2015.

He was born February 21, 1977 in Jamestown, North Dakota the son of Bradford Aipperspach and Deb Jones. Chris graduated from Jamestown High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from Iowa Wesleyan. He married Sara (Randall) Aipperspach on August 2, 2003.

Chris enjoyed and excelled at his career in IT Management and was loved by his coworkers everywhere he worked, most recently at Healthgrades of Denver, CO. He made life-long friends everywhere he went. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors rafting, camping, and hiking.His passions were music, movies, gardening and sports. He followed his favorite bands all over the United States and Mexico. He loved Phish, and he loved going to shows at Red Rocks with his brothers, wife and friends. He had a soft spot for the Cubbies, and participated in numerous fantasy sports. He loved his pets, especially his yellow lab Tally. He loved his family and friends, and kept in contact with them. He was a compassionate, witty, funny, affectionate, loving soul and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He was survived by his dogs Tally and Sadie and cat, Spencer, his wife Sara Aipperspach, mother Deb (Frank) Jones, father Brad Aipperspach, siblings Richard (Yakar) Aipperspach , Ian Jones (Annie McAleer), Amie Jones (Justin Christy), and Ty (Leanna) Jones, grandmother Sonia Berg, uncles Randy and Mick Britzman, aunt Rinda Pfarr, many cousins, nephews and nieces, and special family friend Chrysann.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Merle Hay Funeral Home, 4400 Merle Hay Rd. Des Moines, IA 50310. His Celebration of Life Service starts at 3 p.m.
