Bill Kerkow, 59, of Stella, NE, passed away July 16, 2015 at Sabetha, KS. He was born September 3, 1955 at Nebraska City, NE to the late Gordon and Addie (Freel) Kerkow.

Bill lived south of Nemaha and graduated from Southeast Consolidated High School at Stella in 1974 and then took employment at Indian Cave State Park. He lived in Nemaha, Shubert and then finally to Stella. He retired as head grounds keeper at Indian Cave State Park in 2010. He liked to bowl and mushroom hunt. He also did tire repair and recycling.

Bill is survived by his brother, Gene of Huron, SD, Michael of Hiawatha, KS, half-sister, Shavon Kerkow of Rulo, NE, a niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Karen Kerkow.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Elle Last officiating. Inurnment will be in Prairie Union Cemetery.
