Enid Wallace

OTTUMWA – Enid N. Wallace, 71, of 605 S. Hancock St., died at 1:30 p.m. July 3, 1991, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

She was born Mar. 11, 1920, in Appanoose County to Andrew D. and Ida Jane Forsythe Oliver. She married Harold O. Wallace on June 2, 1940, in Centerville; he died Aug. 10, 1973.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Davis Street Christian Church.

She is survived by four sons, Wilbur and Michael of Blue Grass, James of Pontiac, Ill., and Donald of Bettendorf; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, William of Davenport and Lawrence of Moulton; and four sisters, Alta Adams of Exline and Alice Horn, Ada Bailey and Emma Cole of Centerville.

The service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Davis Street Christian Church, the Rev. William Flewelling officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Johnson Funeral Home. Family visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the Davis Street Christian Church.
