Services for Cary Illene King, 63, of Jacksonville, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015, in the chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with Pastor Vic Wilmon officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery in Upshur County at noon Saturday.

Cary was born October 15, 1951, in Houston to Thomas and Edna Parker and passed away on July 14, 2015 in Jacksonville.

She worked for Trinity Mother Frances Hospital between 1975 and 1981. Cary is preceded in death by her father and a sister.

She is survived by her husband, her mother, one son, one brother, a sister-in-law, a grandson, and many cousins.

She loved spending time with her grandson.

Pallbearers will be six in total. Two specific honorary pallbearers were named, besides the staff at the Hospice of East Texas.

Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 at the funeral home.

Family would like to thank the staff at Hospice Homeplace for their wonderful care giving of Cary. Memorials may be made to The Hospice of East Texas Foundation 4111 University Blvd. Tyler, TX 75701.
