SWANNANOA - Herman Eldridge "Buddy" Shelton, 64, of Swannanoa, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 at his residence.
Born November 4, 1950 in Asheville, he was the son of the late William Hayes Shelton and Pansy Lucille Smith Shelton.
Mr. Shelton retired from Metropolitan Sewer and attended Davistown Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons, Dwight Shelton and Christopher Shelton; daughter, Jacquelyn Shelton Burnett; brothers, Roy Shelton and Gene Shelton; sisters, Sandra Helton and Tina Norton; and 8 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Black Mountain Church of God, 116 North Fork Road, Black Mountain, NC 28711.
