Jennie was married to Thomas Rudolph Lawley in Hunt Co. Texas on Feb. 1, 1870 listed as Jane McBride. I believe her nickname of Jennie came from her middle name of Jane.
Jennie and Lawley husband are on the 1880 Hunt Co. Texas census, Precinct 7, yet all her children from 2nd child Henrietta Lawley forward are listed as being born in Rockwall, Texas on their death records.
Jennie and family are on the 1900 Indian Territory, Chickasaw Nation census listed as farmers, it has Jennie had 10 children, 9 living. We have 9 children listed so no idea of the 10 child. I found 8 children but can't find son Edwin B. Lawley after he appears in their home on the 1880 census, age 3 months, born Feb. 1880.
Jennie and family are on the 1910 Johnston Co. Oklahoma census, so far I've not found them on the 1920 census.
We found that Jennie's husband, Dolph Lawley died July 12, 1914 in Electra, Wichita, Texas from a Texas death record but it doesn't give his place of burial.
By the 1930 census Jennie is in the home of her Starks son'nlaw and daughter Laura Lawley Starks in Carter Co. Oklahoma listed as a widow. Laura and family are still there in 1935 but by the 1940 census Laura and family have moved to Rockwall, Texas. Jennie must have moved to the Handley, Texas area shortly after she appears on the 1930 census maybe with another of her children.
