Lawrence was born and raised in Carthage, Mo. before entering the U.S. Army in 1969. He served 4 years, stationed in Korea. He received an honorable discharge from the Armed Forces in 1972. Upon his return to the U.S., he began his 30 year career with Jack Cooper Transport earning the Million Mile award. During his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his lifelong friends, children, and family. His passions include spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, fishing, cooking, rebuilding classic cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed making people laugh. His humor will be missed and forever remembered.
He is survived by his son Lawrence W. Brewer Jr. (Jennifer Patterson) of Lee’s Summit, Mo., daughter, Carla Roche (Bill Roche) of Overland Park, KS., grandchildren, Ashley Hung, Kavan Brewer, Jerrica Patterson, Liam Roche, Brady Roche and 2 sisters.
