Lance Corporal Wells, age 21, of Marietta, passed away July 16, 2015. Skip was an E-3 in the United States Marines, having joined in November 2014, and was with the 3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve. He had received the National Defense Service Medal and an Certificate of Appreciation. He is survived by his mother, Cathy Wells; maternal grandparents, Patricia and Richard Trapanese; aunts, Lynn Trapanese and Sandy Jackson. His father helped liberate Kuwait from Iraq.; He was one of four Marines murdered at the USN Operational Support Center (the second terrorist attack location of that day). Those who desire, in lieu of flowers, may make contributions to a Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank or to Marine's and Mickey at www.marinesandmickey.org.
