Death of W.V. Fisher
W.V. Fisher, aged 64 years, died at his home on north Church Friday at 2 o'clock of Bright's disease. The deceased leaves a wife and eight children. Three sons, John and Jeff of this county and Thomas of Iowa; five daughters, Mrs. Geo. Fox, Mrs. John Jordan and Misses Minnie and Mollie Fisher of this city, and Mrs. Chas. Redmond of Humboldt, Kansas. All the family were present at the funeral.

The deceased was an old soldier and a member of the G.A.R. post at Humansville, MO. He was a member of the burial association. The funeral services occurred at the house Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Best officiating.
