Sarah Elizabeth Drake, 98, of East Ridge, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at a local assisted living facility.

She was born in Crawford, AR on May 14, 1917 to the late William and Edith Canfield.

She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands; Luther Glenn Newbanks, and James Wellington Drake, Brothers; Neil Canfield, Henry Canfield, Lester Canfield, Howard Canfield, and Roy Canfield, Sisters; Cynthia Starkey, and Stella Puckett.

She is survived by her two daughters; Jeanie Springett of Cleveland, TN, and Shirley Rae Newbanks of Augusta, WV, 5 grandchildren; Lisa R. Springett, Anne F. Graham, Glen L. Warner, C. Stuart Warner, and Tammy Rae Rhoads, and 6 great grandchildren; Robert Warner, Lauren Warner, Benjamin Warner, Joshua Rhoads, Aivah Graham, and Davon Graham.

Graveside service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday July 18, 2015 at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, WV. Pastor Donnie Dye, officiating.

There will be no visitation at the request of the family.
