CISCO - W.P. "Pitt" Walton, 82, a longtime Cisco resident, died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Eastland Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cisco Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Buddy Sipe of First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Born Nov. 18, 1898 in Hubbard, he married Dorris Lee Watson Jan. 18, 1941, in Cisco. He was an electrical technician and a member of First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Joe and Ronny, both of Cisco; two daughters, Peggy Jones of Abilene and Joan Fugler of Longview; a brother, Otis Lee "Buster" of Abilene; and five grandchildren.
