Samaual Jefferson "Jeff" Branton was born October 23, 1954 in Hugo, OK, the son of Richard Wayne Branton and Ruby Ellen (Fox) Branton.
Jeff grew up in Hugo and moved back to the Soper area in 1994. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed going to Soper Red Bear ballgames. He married Pam Donnette Rolen on July 2, 1992 in Paris, TX. Jeff dearly loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was of the Baptist faith.
His parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John Wayne Branton.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE: his wife, Pam Branton; two sons Dakota Branton of Soper and Bryan Williams of Oklahoma City, OK; four daughters, Tammi Nicholas and son in law Troy Nicholas of Yukon, OK; Tonya Branton of Statesboro, GA, Misty Branton of Burlington, IA and Carrah Barnard of Statesboro, GA; one brother, Jack Branton of Soper; one sister, JoAnn (Branton) Richard of Lancaster, TX; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; lifelong friends, Eddie Fletcher, Chris Goolsby and Preston Woods; several nieces and nephews along many other relatives and friends.
