Michael O. Schuller, age 68, of Watertown, SD, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015, at Avera-Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD. He was the husband of Linda (Graf) Schuller. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2015, at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Pastor Trudy Qualm will officiate. Music will be provided by Pastor Qualm on the guitar. The family is requested to meet at the chapel on Friday by 9:30 a.m. to attend the service.

Visitation will be at the Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and prior to services at the chapel on Friday.

Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Watertown. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the Vietnam Veterans of America and the Ellsworth Honor Guard of the U.S. Air Force. Pallbearers will be Nathan Graf, Darin Graf, John Graf, Chad Lehman, Connor Lehman and Chris Aslesen.

Michael was born on December 24, 1946, at Juno, Alaska, to Ray and Margaret (Humphrey) Schuller. He was a graduate of Washington University. Michael served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War as a cargo plane pilot. Following an honorable discharge, he was employed as a pilot for 27 years, last flying for Northwest Airlines.

On May 5, 1990, Michael married Linda Graf at Minneapolis, MN. Michael retired from flying in 2005. In 1993, Michael and Linda moved to Watertown and built their home on Lake Kampeska.

He enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, water sports, yardwork and hunting and fishing. Michael loved spending quality time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.

Michael is survived by his wife, Linda, of Watertown; one son, Brandon Schuller, of Seattle, WA; two step-children: Jennifer (Tom) Sweeney of Kansas City, MO, and Chad (Nacole) Lehman of Groton, SD; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his parents, Ray and Margaret, of Seattle, WA; three brothers-in-law: Bob (Sherry) Graf of Watertown, Jim (Jane) Graf of Minneapolis, MN, and John Graf and his friend, April, of Watertown; and several nieces and nephews.
