Patrick G. Fowler, Age 77, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on July 14, 2015. Beloved son of the late Edward C.F.D. and Julia (Walsh) Fowler. Adored brother of E. Martin (late Mariann) Fowler and Annette (late William) Dattulo. Darling uncle of Edward (Kathleen) Fowler, the late Mary Pat Fowler, Kathleen Jackson, James (Linda) Fowler, John (Denise) Dattulo, C.P.D., Anne (Ryan, C.P.D.) Sheahan, and Thomas (Kelly) Dattulo. Fond uncle to many grand nieces and nephews. A graduate of Loras College, Patrick spent his life as an educator devoting 40 years to St. Laurence H.S. and 11 years to Moraine Valley Community College. During his career at St. Laurence he served as Chairman of the Mathematics Department for 28 years, Computer Administrator for 18 years and six years as Assistant Dean of Discipline. Patrick also spent 13 years as coach of the Frosh-Soph Basketball Team. Patrick was a parishioner of Christ the King Church for 58 years, where he served as Lector and Eucharistic minister. Visitation will be held in church on Friday 4-8pm and Saturday morning 9:30am-10:30am at Christ the King Church 9235 S. Hamilton Avenue, Chicago, IL 60643. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10:30am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Mercy Home for Boys and Girls (Beverly/Morgan Park Girls Campus) c/o 1140 W.
