GRANGER- Melissa Ann Nelson, 44, of Granger, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday July 16, 2013 surrounded by her family.

Melissa was born on January 22, 1969 in Long Beach, CA to James E. & Marcia L. (Weir) Botsford. Melissa became the bride of Scott E. Nelson in Cancun, Mexico on September 13, 2002. She worked at Home Town Mortgage in Elkhart, Indiana after many years in the Real Estate Field.

She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, James & Marcia (Weir) Botsford, her loving husband, Scott E. nelson, her daughter, Brionna Botsford, 2 sons, Bryce Nelson and Christopher Nelson, a sister, Stacee Botsford and a brother Matthew Botsford. Melissa also leaves behind loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to cherish the many memories of time spent together.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Melissa A. Nelson may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
