He came with family from MD to Grundy/Franlin Co MO abt 1838 and married Ann P Tandy 1838 Livingston Co. MO. The brother Issac lived and died nearby and sister Charlotte Mrs Benson stayed in MO when they all left to CA in 1850 and were in Mountain View by April of 1851. He removed to OR about 1867 for15 yrs, splitting the kids up there where his wife died about 1890. OF all 11 kids; only 3 had families: Leven Jackson stayed near Eugene, OR married Nora Sutherland dau Milvina Gruelle in Modoc Co. CA, and Vincent Snelling Henderson in Mountain View, CA- all other children had no family
