CUTHBERTSON - John L. Cuthbertson, age 85, of Belmont, passed away at his home on December 16, 2008. John was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Betty (Ward) Cuthbertson, and a daughter, Susan L. Stevens.
John was a WWII Veteran serving with the United States Marine Corps. John worked as a professor in Michigan's School Systems for over 30 years, his students remember him as "Mr. C". He is survived by a daughter, Johnna E. (Johni) Suttorp of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Lisa Mazurek of York, PA, Todd (Brittany) Mazurek of Grand Rapids, MI, John Mazurek with the U.S. Army, Robin (Allen) Shotko of Cedar Springs, MI, Brad Suttorp of Grand Rapids, Chris (Pam) Stevens of Grand Rapids, Nick Stevens with the U.S. Army; 10 great grandchildren.
