James Walter Yandell, age 82, died at Sparks Memorial Hospital in Ft Smith, September 9. He was born in Scott County.

Survivors include four sons, Wilbur, Willard and Troy of Havana and Roy of California; one brother, Frank of Big Springs, Tex.; seven sisters, Mrs. Laura Gist, Mrs. Donnie Emerson, Mrs. Luda Fletcher and Mrs. Ida Grey, all of Oklahoma, Mrs. Girtie Capps of England, Mrs. Florence Sewell and Mrs. Isla Jones of Lubbock, Tex.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
