"A telegram was received Monday morning by O. V. Lair from Frank Ball at Salt Lake City, Utah, announcing the death of Mrs. C. G. Stevenson at that city Sunday. The telegram gave only meager information in regard to her death.
Mrs. Stevenson was a former resident of this city, having lived here about ten years ago. She had been in poor health for a number of years. A short time ago, she contracted pneumonia, which was the cause of her death.
About ten years ago, she went to Salt Lake City for her health and stayed there three years, after which she returned to Chillicothe and went to the home of John Stewart southeast of the city where she resided until two years ago, when she again returned to Salt Lake City, making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Frank Ball.
She is survived by the following children: Charles Robinson of Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Frank Ball of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Milford Hill of Chicago, and Mrs. Jacob Stevenson of Salt Lake City.
The body will be brought to Chillicothe and buried in Edgewood Cemetery." Chillicothe Morning Constitution, July 2, 1906
