On Friday, July 10, 2015, we lost an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted friend when Lisa Chapman passed away at the age of 81. In the last days and hours of her life she was always surrounded by family. The loss will be felt by so many who knew Lisa and loved her.

Lisa has been reunited with her son Royce, who she lost at an early age, as well as her mother, Luise Erna Modde; father, Kernmacher Walter Albert Modde; sister, Gerda Brokelt; and brothers, Heinz, Wilfried, and Gerhardt Modde.
Lisa was born in Magdeburg, Germany. She met her husband while he was stationed in Germany and returned with him to the U.S. to live a life of an officer's wife, a title she proudly took on and for which she was looked up to with the AWS (Air Weather Service).
Lisa loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be remembered as funny, kind, and always willing to be part of the fun. Lisa is sorely missed.
