Services for Callie Fletcher, 82, Rusk, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Oakland Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. R.S. Dyess officiating.

Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery under direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Mrs. Fletcher died June 7, 2006, in a Tyler hospital.

She was born March 13, 1924, in Anderson County and was a lifelong resident of Cherokee County. She was a housewife and member of Oakland Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by son-in-law, David Beckham; daughter-in-law, Nancy Fletcher; and godchild, Pam Peters.

Survivors include her husband, John E. Fletcher, Rusk; sons, Billy Fletcher, LaPorte, and Joe Roy Fletcher, Rusk; daughters, Barbara Evans, Johnnie Beckham, Donna Davis and Lacyne Higgins, all of Rusk; brother, Curtis Langston, Conroe; sisters, Dora B. Lusk, Jacksonville, Allie Croft, Elkhart, Bertie Bowman, Denson Springs, and Mary Weaver; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

Pallbearers are Randy King, James Bowman, Bruce Bowman, Joe Glover, Danny Hernandez and Charles Peters.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
