Guy retired as a foreman from the Pennsylvania Railroad with over 30 years of dedicated service. He was a US Army veteran of World War II where he served as a medic. He was the recipient of two bronze stars for his actions in the Asiatic Pacific, European, African and Middle Eastern Campaigns.
Guy was a member of the Dillsburg VFW Post 6771, the Biglerville American Legion Post 262 and the former Dillsburg 190 Hunting Club. In addition, Guy enjoyed hunting and attending auctions in Carlisle.
Guy was preceded in death by his wife Winifred L. (Myers) Phillips and by his three sisters Geraldine Heltibridle, Olive Barbour and Mabel Bixler.
