Mary Juanita Clements Janes, 82, of 710 Logsdon Ln., Springfield, died at 12:08 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2015, at her residence.
Born Sept. 22, 1932, in Washington County, she was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Anthony and Martha Montgomery Clements, four brothers, Jimmy, Gerald, John Pat and Tom Clements and one sister, Geraldine Coleman.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Janes; three sons, Patrick Janes and Harold (Rhoda) Janes of Lexington and David (Lucinda) Janes of Salvisa; two daughters, Karen Janes of Lexington and Barbard (Edward) Ghazalian of Cynthiana; three brothers, Fred (Frances) Clements Jr. and Butch (Marcia) Clements all of Lexington and Bob Lee (Mary) Clements of Nicholasville; four sisters, Jean C. Boone of Springfield, Tillie (Jack) Coomes and Marilyn Ballard of Bardstown and Sue Ray of Shepherdsville; a grandson, Douglas Janes and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass was conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2015, at St. Dominic Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin McGrath, O.P. officiating. Burial was in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bob Lee, Butch Clements, Kenny Graves, Roger Vonnahme, Ed Ghazalian and Harold Janes.
Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
