Carrie G. Hall, 81, of Bloomington passed away at 4:47 p.m. Saturday (July 11, 2015) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
Carrie was born on Aug. 31, 1933 in Tarheel, N.C., a daughter of Neill A. and Willie Evelyn Dowless Gooden. She married Charles M. Hall in August 1952 in Dillion, S.C. He preceded her in death on July 9, 1987. Carrie was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James David Gooden.
Surviving are two sons, Charles M. (Mary) Hall Jr. and Jonathan H. (Debra) Hall; a daughter, Carolyn (Steven) Hall Jiles; four grandchildren two sisters, Judy Jenkins and Patricia Chancellor.
Carrie was employed at JC Penney, retiring after 20 years of service on May 1, 2015. She was awarded associate of the month in February 2015.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
